Some just will not respond to treatment.

Sudden deaths are harder on us because chickens can be taken down by so many things. When it happens so suddenly all we can do is worry about the rest. I guess I ain't helping a bit.

~~Matt~~Foothills Poultryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07266877566073323498noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2148245613023368872.post-68449101165247275842011-06-23T22:43:19.398-04:002011-06-23T22:43:19.398-04:00so sorry to hear your sad news. sometimes things j...so sorry to hear your sad news. sometimes things just don't make any sense.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12412397738687286369noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2148245613023368872.post-3972971280520617852011-06-22T16:38:00.359-04:002011-06-22T16:38:00.359-04:00I am so sorry. It's hard to lose our hens. ...I'm sorry. It's hard to lose our hens. We lost Big Girl last week, our 2-yr-old Buff. She was very sweet. I think her immune system was compromised from being sick when she was young. When the 100-degree temps hit, she just couldn't deal with it. They just don't live very long and we get so attached to them.Denise at Autumn Skyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00229028926029898680noreply@blogger.com
